One Morning on the River

The longer I stood on this spot, overlooking the fog rising off the headwaters of the Blackwater River in WV, the more entranced I became with the texture, the motion, and the reflection of the grasses along the bank. Such an intimate relationship, but so rich in contrasts.

Highlands Mist

It had been raining all day. When the storm clouds cleared, the more recalcitrant among them lingered in the valley, where it was cool and calm. Couldn't blame them.

One Second Til Sunset

The last light of day shows us a dance in the valley as fog tries to crawl up the mountain side, only to be liberated as thin vapor, invisible to the eye.
